Tuesday, April 11, 2017 - 4:18 PM

The WA Football Commission and Tigers District are pleased to welcome Declan Cormack to the team. Declan replaces Sam Cousens who departed the Development Officer role last month, heading to university to pursue a teaching career.

Declan is a local Claremont District boy who since leaving high school has completed a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Health) at the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma of Business at The University of Notre Dame.

Declan is passionate about Australian Football and has been involved in the sport for most of his life. He played junior football in the Claremont District before moving onto senior football at the East Fremantle Football Club. More recently Declan has pursued footy with the Collegians Amateur Football Club as a player, coach and committee member. Declan has also worked at the Fremantle Football Club in the membership, community goals, events and merchandise departments/teams.

Declan looks forward to his new role and looks forward to working positively with community stakeholders and clubs to help grow the game.
